I listen to a number of tech news programs, but you might not like those. Check your favorite public radio shows... most of them produce podcasts. If you don't have favorites, I'll tell you mine.
Keith and the Girl (offensive/comedy) This American Life (NPR) Best of Chris Moyles (BBC/comedy) Scott Mills Daily (BBC/comedy) Newsweek On Air (News) Bill Moyers Journal (PBS) Way Past Bedtime with Gustav Bertha (Indie Music) ESPN Radio NPR: Wait, Wait...Don't tell Me
Some of the American Public Media podcasts are good. I like to listen to "The Splendid Table" (the show for people who love to eat) while I exercise, as a sort of exercise in perversity.
Open Source with Christopher Lydon. I think you might still be able to download it, but they don't make new ones any more. It's a hodgepodge of topics, and very smart.
A Way With Words used to be my favorite, and they stopped producing that show, too. And NPR's Sunday Puzzle is fun if you like puzzles and Will Shortz.
