I thought Alan Arkin's win was another highlight. Bup, bup, little miss sunshine!
I liked the crazy dance troupe doing the silhouette interpretations of movies. (The Little Miss Sunshine one was sweet!) However, I get incredibly irate when more than one person wins an award (like for art direction or sound editing or whatever) but they start playing the music before the first person even finishes. Just let the techies say thanks to their moms, already!! Sheesh.
Was anyone else a little disappointed that there were no truly disastrous gowns this year? I thought maybe I'd missed something (I was doing homework while watching the telecast), but even the "Worst Dressed" photos I've seen online don't look THAT bad. I mean, I thought Jennifer Hudson looked fine once she took off that silly shrug.
