My triumphant return to Madison

Sorry I've been incommunicado, I've been having to fight my sister for the use of our mother's extremely slow dial-up Internet connection (it's taken me nearly nine minutes just to get to the blog, log in, and start a new post). I also had to wait 'til my mom knew her schedule for tomorrow so I'd know if I could borrow her car.

All this leads me to wonder: HAVE I TRAVELED BACK IN TIME TO THE YEAR 1997?

And if I have, can we still be friends even though we won't meet at SLIS for another eight years or so? I promise not to make fun of you about the whole "MMMBop" thing.

If so, and if you are in Madison tomorrow (Thursday, 12/27), please meet me downtown, where we can enjoy delicious foods and refreshing beverages.

How about the Orpheum at 4 pm for their happy hour?
