Just had to share this, because no one else in my house got excited--the cat just caught a frigging mouse! Inside the house! And didn't even have the sense to eat it...what a way to end the night.

At least Minnie caught it before it crawled in bed with you or made itself a sandwich or something!!
Way to go, kitty! My cat is too fat and dumb to know what to do with a mouse that isn't stuffed with catnip....
Update: They are definitely in the basement. Minnie caught a second today. I think I'll bring it up tomorrow, when the rental company's showing the house....
She's a pretty good cat, when she's not trying to rip out my throat. But she may get meaner if I keep taking away her trophies.
