Uh oh

This is hilarious and alarming... hopefully our charming little blog will not produce similar results!

Wow. I can't believe that school denied her a degree for *that* picture. She doesn't look drunk, she could be drinking water, it's a caption for c***sakes -- the school can't prove a thing. Without the caption that says she was drunk, what then? What a load of crap. I hope she wins that suit.

I suppose, though, for safety's sake, we should remove all drunken party/pub crawl pictures of us....

I agree with Lia. Ridiculous. I mean, maybe I could understand if she was taking shots of tequila off some fellow pirate's stomach and wearing a t-shirt that said "can you believe they let me mold young minds?" But this picture is tame. I consider myself to be pretty careful about the pictures that are tagged of me, but it would never occur to me to remove a pic that lame.

That's so incredibly stupid! I don't see how they can refuse to grant a degree that she's earned unless there is an specific policy about social networking sites--and it may be an infringement on freedom of speech even if that were the case.

What are those college administrators doing trawling around MySpace anyway? (One of my officemates suggests that they must be some kind of perverts.)

I used to live near this place, and I believe it's close to the school district where they tried to make creationism part of the curriculum...
