I want me some of this "voda 9piva."
Ahoj! Jak se máte?
While I'm sure you're all miles ahead of me on this, I had fun looking up some potentially useful vocab for you guys:
Dám si jedno pivo prosím
and after that:
Smím prosit?
and if things go well...
Jaké je vaše telefonní číslo?
and you never know when this will come in handy:
Pštros s pštrosicí a malými pštrosáčaty.
Meanwhile, while you are all expanding your horizons, I’m spending my summer attempting not to sink in lake Mendota whilst sailing about in a very small boat.
Dobrou noc!
My favorite phrase of that wonderful post: the "fuck zou" thing. It's sounds so delightfully heavy eastern european accent-esque (if that makes any sense) I miss you guys... come home soon! (In the meanwhile, I will be telling random, jerky people "Fuck Zou.")
Hey D -
Nice to hear you got your luggage finally. I heard from Dana from Aaron from Jeremy that you'd been missing it for some time. Ugh.
Stay away from the terrible food, stick to the ok food, and search for some good food for crying out loud, D!
And lastly, "don't do anything I wouldn't do."
