I saw this when it was on TV. I had to call my mom and tell her to watch it too. I've rarely seen anything that scary on broadcast television.
That night I did a quick Google and found that, to their credit, other people from that woman's hometown in Louisiana had written letters to the editor of their local paper saying how ashamed they were of her behavior and what a poor reflection she was on both Christianity and their community.
