I've heard the rumors...when is this happening???!!!
To whomever schedules this night of excitement: can you be sure to accomodate Kelly's schedule? Girlfriend has told some stories and I want to see her in action!

Well, I was going to send out an email re:the supposed karaoke but this works well too.
For the Saturday after my birthday (that would be the 11th), I am requesting a night of Karaoke. I'm assuming this would take place at Karaoke Kid but since I'm a karaoke virgin, please let me know if there are more preferred places to go. I haven't figured out anything time-wise but yes, there will be karaoke and it will be fabulous, particularly if Kelly busts out some of her moves.
Oh dear, now I have to live up to my (self-promoted) reputation. I'll need to start thinking about what song I'll choose. It needs to be something that will allow me to properly display my duck-like vocal range.
Please note that my skill set does NOT include the busting of moves. I'm afraid I may actually be responsible for the unfortunate reputation of Caucasians in that area.
Nooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!! I have a choir concert that night. I was going to blog about it and call it "I'm here for the graduate student, part deux." Is there a way we could make the Karaoke late enough to accommodate the concert? (It's at 8:00)
Man, did I pick the wrong weekend to go to Chicago! I'm missing out on all sorts of craziness this weekend. Hope you all have fun!
