This state does suck. Dane County was the only county in the entire state to Vote No.
Be sure to check out the map of the vote by county to get the full impact of the state's suck-i-ness.
This is why having a Nov. 8th birthday sucks--when G Dubs won in 2004, it was yet another shitty birthday.
The only thing I can say about the ammendment is that I found out that my mother--my very very Republican mother--voted no because she "felt it was the right thing to do." That made the ban passing a little less painful.
But, at least we've got the House back!!!!! And at least Doyle got re-elected....
*this is me grasping at strings :)*
The difference in La Crosse county was 16 votes. And it's not just Wisconsin that f-ed this one up, see:

Idaho
South Carolina
South Dakota
Tennessee
Virginia
Alaska
California
Georgia
Hawaii
Basically the entire country.
It's not Wisconsin, it's everyone. I'm proud of half of Wisconsin for trying our hardest.
Don't be down. Just wait until employeers start denying benefits to "partners." If you read the text, only married people count now! Goodbye common law.
But don't forget Arizona.
It's a start.
